Have you ever been told that you need to cut out some of your favourite foods to meet your health and performance goals? Or have you ever put the pressure on yourself to cut out some of your favourite foods? This is called the all or none approach to nutrition, and it is NOT
sustainable. Instead of eliminating some of our favourite foods, I would think of it more as upgrading these foods. You do not have to necessarily cut a food out - but upgrade it to an option that supports overall health. At the end of the day, if you are not a healthy individual, you
will not be able to reach optimal performance. I believe more in addition than subtraction and once we start to add more good foods in our diet we will not have room for the rest.
After an initial meeting with Emma, she will create a customized nutrition plan for you including macronutrient targets (carbs, fats, protein), calorie targets (depending on age and time of season), pre/post workout/game hydration and nutrient recommendations, pre/post workout
hydration and nutrient recommendations, off-day recommendations, sleep and stress management recommendations (stress is not just psychological stress - physical stressors), a customized recipe package and much more. Emma is here to guide and educate the athlete on
